Modesty at it's finest

When it comes to modesty, I think it's bemusing that people say, "this is a hot topic right now"....I think it has always been a hot topic. I won't say much, because I just wanted to link everyone to a post that I think summarizes how to deal with modesty (from both sides) in a Christ-like fashion.

If you don't have time to read it, the most important quote was this, "It is a woman’s responsibility to dress herself in the morning. It is your responsibility to look at her like a human being regardless of what she is wearing."

I have noticed that other posts/talks have usually been about just one side...usually the girls' side. I've read many posts trying to persuade girls to dress better, and I know of one memorable post to guys saying to get your act together. This post, however, is addressed to a man's son, but he says both sides are responsible. Amen. Why do we push blame on another person?

I'm quite guilty of trying to change other people throughout my life. I've been working on that one. I'm the only person I can control. The work starts on your side. It's just between you and God.

Here's the full article. It is quite straight forward and sincere. I recommend a read through.
